We are recruiting a Service Technician with a background as an HD Mechanic / Drill Fitter with Auto Electrician capabilities for our clients in the mining industry in Ghana and West Africa.
The Role
The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of a combination of production and mining mobile plant experience.
Responsibilities:
- Handling both scheduled and unscheduled repair of the recruitment listed below either within site workshops on the field as required,
- Scheduled maintenance of the below-mentioned equipment either within the site or on the field as required.
Requirements
We only expect to receive submissions from suitably qualified applicants who can provide evidence of the following:
- Appropriate trade qualification certificate
- Min 5 yrs. Industry working experience
- Ability to pass a detailed medical and health exam
- National police clearance
- Valid Passport
- Driver's license for manual transmission
- Experience with CAT/ Volvo earthmoving equipment
- Experience with Sandvik and/or Epiroc drills
- Solid understanding of hydraulic and electrical schematics
- Solid understanding of CANBus systems
