Revna Biosciences is on the lookout for a dynamic professional to fill the role of Sales and Business Development Executive. The successful candidate will be instrumental in forging key relationships to drive corporate sales of our medical laboratory services and research products. This role is geared towards achieving specified sales targets and fostering maximum growth, in alignment with the company’s vision and values.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and execute an annual strategic sales plan.
- Product Knowledge: Gain comprehensive knowledge of all product lines and platforms, and effectively communicate this knowledge to a diverse audience, including healthcare practitioners, researchers, and laypersons.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Cultivate a business development pipeline of key stakeholder relationships.
- Business Performance Analysis: Analyze business performance metrics, including profitability, revenue, pricing, and cost of goods sold.
- Customer Account Management: Proactively prospect, manage, and grow new corporate customer accounts and associated revenue.
- Budget and Expense Management: Manage budgets, expenses, pricing, and commercial arrangements in line with the company’s financial model and projections.
- Contract Efficiency: Drive efficiencies to ensure contracts remain financially viable and are delivered on budget.
- Lead Generation: Identify and follow up on leads of potential new customers with long-term prospects.

- Sales Team Management: Manage the sales team to achieve and exceed targets, ensuring continuous staff training and monitoring sales quality through joint visits and regular meetings.
- Reporting: Prepare and share periodic reports on all sales and complementary activities with senior management.
- Proposal Preparation: Prepare proposals and provide information regarding terms of sales.
- Market Research: Gather and synthesize data on marketing trends, competitive products, and pricing.
- Marketing Program Participation: Participate in marketing program planning, development, execution, and measurement to ensure the success of corporate sales programs.
Required Skills or Experience
- Candidates with a background in Medical Laboratory Science are strongly preferred and encouraged to apply.
- Additional certification/qualification and experience in marketing is an added advantage.
- Proven corporate business development experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in sales of medical laboratory equipment and diagnostic or medical products.
