PROJECT COORDINATOR
The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing the implementation of the PUNBO project (Pukparilim Nyela Bom’ma Project) in the Northern Region of Ghana. This comprehensive initiative aims to increase income and employment opportunities for small-scale household farmers through the adoption of smart agriculture practices, with a focus on sustainable agricultural production.
Additionally, the project addresses child protection and gender-based violence issues in the project communities.
The role entails:
Project Planning and Implementation
- Work closely with the Programmes Director to translate project goals into actionable plans and oversee their execution.
- Coordinate the implementation of all project components, including agriculture, child protection, and gender-based violence initiatives.
Team Leadership and Management
- Provide leadership to project staff, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.
- Supervise and support component officers, ensuring effective communication and coordination among team members.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with government officials, community leaders, NGOs, and other key stakeholders.
- Act as a key liaison between the project and external partners, ensuring alignment with project goals.
