Aduanefie Marketplace is an agrocentric farmers marketplace that allows farmers across Africa and beyond to sell their farm produce. Our goal is to aid farmers in selling their farm produce faster and easier, allowing them to focus on their farming activities.
Role Description
This is a remote volunteer role for a Financial Accountant. The Financial Accountant will be responsible for creating financial statements, financial reporting, and using analytical skills to interpret financial data. The Financial Accountant will also be responsible for using accounting software to maintain accurate financial records.
Qualifications
- Experience with creating financial statements and financial reporting
- Analytical skills to interpret and present financial data
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Experience in the agricultural industry is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and financial planning. Experience in non-profit accounting or volunteer work may also be beneficial for this role.
