We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated and experienced school marketing and business manager to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will work with the Head of the School and the leadership team playing a pivotal role in promoting the school’s brand within the country and abroad, enhancing its visibility and implementing effective marketing and PR strategies to drive enrolment and community engagement
The primary goal of this position is to help the school generate revenues and growth for the British school of Lome.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure consistency in the school’s brand messaging across all communication channels
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines to uphold the school’s image and reputation
Event Management
Plan and execute school events, open houses and promotional activities to attract prospective students and engage the community
Marketing Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement Marketing strategies
- Create comprehensive marketing plans to promote the school’s programs, boarding, achievements and events
- Utilise various channels, including digital platforms, traditional media and community outreach to enhance the school’s visibility

Print & Digital Marketing
- Oversee the school’s online presence, including the website and social media platforms
- Implement digital marketing strategies to reach a wider audience and engage with current and prospective stakeholders
- Draft press releases, articles and other communications to showcase the school’s achievements and activities
Collaboration
- Work closely with academic departments, admissions and administrative teams to gather information for effective communication and marketing materials
- Collaborate with alumni for promotional activities and engagement initiatives
Qualification Required & Experience
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business (Marketing), Public Relations International Business or a related field
- Proven experience in marketing, PR, or communications roles, preferably in the education sector
- Proficient in English, and knowledge of French and other languages would be an added advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media platforms
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
- Budget creation in collaboration with the finance team
