Scope of Role
The role of the Stores and Logistics Officer encompasses comprehensive oversight of the Company's stores and logistics functions. This entails the complete management of the entire life cycle of all products procured and stored by the organization. Additionally, the incumbent will be tasked with the supervision of all official vehicles and equipment owned by the company. This is a full-time, regular position that involves reporting to and collaborating closely with the Finance and Administrative Manager.

Job Description & Responsibilities
- Handling purchase requisition, quote, and issuance of PO.
- Order processing & invoicing.
- Respond to stock inquiries, quotations, and orders from management.
- Plan, organize, carry out, and evaluate physical stock count.
- Maintain stock records in the system & trace stocks when discrepancies are reported.
- Prepare and present stocks & inventory records/reports.
- Manage inventory/supplies and ensure they are within the established minimum and maximum levels.
- Responsible for packing, labelling, and returning supplies.
- Coordinate with department managers to determine transport requirements and schedule transport to meet them.
- Coordinate the movement of vehicles and other transportation asset.
- Ensure the appropriate use, maintenance and repair of all light vehicles and trucks (private or leased), motorcycles and generators.
- Create and/or modify various systems to manage the movement of vehicles and personnel.
- Keep documents current such as registration, insurance, vehicle logs, daily inspection reports,
- Install and maintain the Vehicle Management System (VMS); ensure that data is input regularly and that required reports are produced.
- Act as liaison with local government agencies and personnel necessary to keep the vehicle fleet legal and roadworthy.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills or Experience
- HND in Storekeeping or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or recordkeeping.
- Good written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with others.
- Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment.
- Analytical mind with an ability to make accurate mathematical computations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management
- Physical ability to frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
