PIL Logistics (Pacific International Lines) is setting up a new business segment to provide door-to-door logistics solutions for customers in the East/West/Southern Africa regions. The Company intends to grow this business segment aggressively, by leveraging its extensive global shipping and multi-modal transport network, a broad spectrum of warehouse capabilities, deep agency experience, and strong customer service standards.
The Company is looking for a highly driven talent with strong business acumen and EQ, to quickly establish this new business segment, and grow it aggressively and sustainably.
Job Scope
- Develop new & existing intermodal service products for key account customers; coordinating and executing service excellence.
- Establish and grow sales funnel, with high customer conversion
- Understand customer's requirements and provide appropriate solutions
- Model end-to-end cost and profit margins to optimize earnings
- Provide differentiated level of service and solutions and increase customer stickiness
- Tender and win long-term contracts

- Deep understanding of critical parameters for all modes of transportation
- A broad network of customers, local authorities, vendors, and service providers
- Procurement best practices
