- Responsibilities:
Data Entry and Bookkeeping: Accurately record financial transactions, maintain ledger entries, and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements to assess the company's financial performance.
- Bank Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements, accounts, and financial records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Assist in Audits: Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and information.
- Budget Monitoring: Assist in the monitoring and control of budgets, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Vendor and Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with vendors and clients regarding financial matters and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist in Payroll Processing: Support the payroll process by providing accurate financial data for salary calculations.
- Adherence to Accounting Standards: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Financial Analysis: Contribute to financial analysis and forecasting to support decision-making processes.
- General Support: Assist the finance team in various accounting tasks and projects as required.
Qualification Required & Experience
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or HND in Accounting.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Experience or knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles.
- Ability to maintain accurate and organized financial records.
- Attention to detail for accurate data entry.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to assist with various accounting and finance tasks as needed.
- Ability to reconcile bank statements, accounts, and other financial records.
Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of 1-year experience.
