Role
- The purpose of this role is to recruit, set goals, coach and monitor top sales performance
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of sales team members
Responsibilities
- Ensure sales team members are fully resourced and equipped with required sales documentation (including marketing materials, proposals and contract templates)
- Motivating, guiding and educating the sales team on best practices. Provide the support and confidence the team needs to sell effectively
- Lead by example in achieving personal and team targets month-on-month
- Ensure compliance with company minimum standards for the Sales function. Ability to enforce sales team adoption and use of Salesforce
- CRM tool for sales process management
- Ability to build a team spirit and create harmony within the sales team for optimum performance
- Maintain non-people and people costs of the sales and business development within budget

Qualification Required & Experience
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong business sense and security industry
- Proven ability to close “big ticket” sales
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
- BA/BSc/MS degree in sales and marketing or business administration or related field
- 5 years of previous experience in a sales role within security industry preferably Electronic security systems (ESS) sales
