This position will support operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and optimizing all facilities and manufacturing equipment including but not limited to construction, painting, plumbing, welding, heating/cooling, automation and fire protection systems in a safe and orderly fashion.
This position creates value for the facility by performing preventive and corrective maintenance leading to increased up-time and reliability, thus helping the facility to meet their production and quality goals.
Results / Accountabilities
- Create and implement automated solutions for manufacturing, testing, data analysis, and other processes.
- Integrate sensors, controllers, actuators, and other hardware components with software interfaces to create a complete automated system that performs tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct thorough testing of automated systems to ensure they function as intended. Identify and resolve any issues, bugs, or errors in the automation process to maintain reliable performance.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of automated systems to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency enhancement. Implement improvements and upgrades to existing automation solutions.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, software developers, quality assurance, and production personnel to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions within the overall workflow.
- Create detailed documentation including design specifications, user manuals, and maintenance guidelines for the automated systems.
- Ensure that automated systems adhere to safety regulations and industry standards. Implement fail-safe mechanisms and emergency protocols to prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of personnel.
- Provide training and support to operators and maintenance personnel to ensure they are proficient in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated systems.
- Any other duties assigned by your manager.

Requirements
Education and Work Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) is typically required.
Preferred skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering (Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) is typically required.
- Proficiency in programming languages, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming, HMI (Human-Machine Interface) development, sensor integration, and other automation technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues in automated systems and implement effective solutions.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with various teams and present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines within a dynamic environment.
- Practical experience with automation tools, software platforms, and hardware components.
