Jogobu Ltd is seeking for highly qualified Electro Technician/ Engineer. This person must be hands on and with I can do mentality.
Responsibilities
- SLA – Execution, ensure the assigned branches are timely service and the issues detected are timely repaired and reported (card printers)
- SLA – Execution, ensure all the pumps are properly service/repaired on time and tested before delivery to customer (pumps)
- Maintenance / Repair of customers’ equipment brought to the office and/ or at customer premises.
- GPS – mounting/installation of tracking devices in customer vehicles. Ensuring the optimal functioning of the devices.
- Ensuring the assembling, mounting and installation of all hardware equipment at customer site.
- Assist in the delivery/collection of things at customer’s site. (Ensures customer signs before receiving of goods on the scanner/on paper)
- Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed with external service providers.
- Assist and maintain plumbing systems to always ensure functionality. Schedule maintenance/repairs with plumbers timely.
- Requesting of Service Providers Quotations/invoices and sending to Accounts for consideration and payment. Advising management to select the right service provider.
- Timely communicating / Escalating of issues to General Manager/Management
- Putting in proposals to management to help grow the business and improve your work.

- Adhering/executing of other urgent priority duties as may arise and assigned by management.
- Testing/Surveying and repair mechanical equipment, vehicles, devices, & systems
- Ensuring company vehicles are always in good condition (arranging external service providers if the need arise for repairs/maintenance timely)
- Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc. (arrange external electricians/ engineers if necessary)
- General Maintenance and Repair of Office Generator(s) (arranging external service providers if necessary and ensuring good condition/functionality)
- Maintenance and Repairs of office equipment, mainly the hardware (computers, printers, fridge)
- Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration, air conditioners and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary. (Arrange external service providers if the need arises).
- Zebra Training
- Other partners training
- GPS testing and training
All other general research, testing and training.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as maintenance technician
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime.
- High school diploma or equivalent. A degree is good, but not mandatory.
- Good in English language (writing & speaking)
- Proficient in Microsoft outlook for email, word for writing and excel.
- Good communication skills and strong team spirit
- Time consciousness and good planning skills
- Flexible and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently without or with minimum supervisory.
