As Regional Digital Business Manager your mission will be to take the lead in all customer relations to fully understand their needs. You will need showcase innovation to further develop our portfolio and to meet customer’s needs. You will be required to ensure successful implementation and customer support across the Digital Solutions Portfolio.
We need you to strengthen our product and application knowledge base within the sales teams you support, act as a sales enabler to translate the value of our Epiroc Digital Solutions offering, and design and lead a team of technology specialists that suits the unique needs of the customers and markets. You will need to ensure that the strategic digital priorities are aligned for the region.

The Regional Digital Business Manager will explore novel digital solutions that complement digital strategy, prioritizing scalable solutions on a regional or global basis. As the empowered P&L owner of the Digital business within your region, it is critical that you can attain these objectives in a lean and efficient way. Ensuring internal collaboration and satisfaction from the CC teams within your region is a defining measurement of success for this role.
Job Description
It all starts with people and in this role, there will be a key focus on People Leadership & Culture which will consist of a high focus on safety. You will need to be a role model and a visible ambassador for our company values and business code of conduct. You will develop a best in class and diversified team to secure leading global technology partner, be focused on people engagement and development.
You will be empowered to execute front-line decisions on behalf of the Division within their given mandates, enabling sales teams to work and respond to customers more quickly and thoroughly.
In partnership with regional sales teams and Business Line Managers, create an agile digital solutions strategy which meets the evolving needs of the business with regards to Digital Business Performance & Management.
As the Regional Digital Manager, you will also be responsible for the territory management strategy and target development for all business units within the region with your team, you will drive best-in-class technical product and mining application knowledge and support while acting as sales support and sales enabler for the customer centre sales teams as well as our end customers.
Your profile
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have a university degree in the relevant field. A Master of Business Administration degree or equivalent through experience
A minimum of 5 years experience in mining-related industries, with knowledge of software-related business models for mining industry segments and proven experience in driving digital development for complex global organizations, is required.
The Regional Digital Manager will have a high level of business acumen with an understanding of commercial initiatives, with experience in bringing products to market. Familiarity with Epiroc’s digital solutions and/or competitor digital solutions is an asset.

Furthermore, we expect you to have strong leadership skills including passion and courage and skills in building, engaging, and inspiring a team. You are a good communicator, and your leadership is inclusive and boosts engagement. You have experience in applying your change management skills in matrixed industrial organizations.
You have a safety-first and collaboration mindset with a high ambition level and the ability to pivot quickly when given new data. We expect that you are an excellent negotiator with the ability to see the big picture and can influence stakeholders. You are “hands-on”, energized, and filled with passion and commitment to do things the right way without risking the loss of business.
You will also need to demonstrate self-awareness and the ability to work independently or as an integrated team member.
Location and travel
In any of our offices in West Africa Accra Ghana, Bamako Mali, Ouagadougou Burkina Faso or Abidjan Ivory Coast. Regional travel is required frequently, and occasional international travelling will be required.
