Sales Engineer - Electrical Switchgear Limited

The Sales Engineer is responsible for partnering with customers to identify needs, create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process. The Sales Engineer reports to the General Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement strategies to achieve monthly sales target
• Receive and process customer orders in an efficient and accurate manner, as well as provide order status updates
• Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
• Offer a variety of product solutions to client
• Create and maintain sales records
• Set clear and achievable expectations with clients and achieve them
• Assists the Estimation team to provide quotations to clients when required.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct quarterly reviews of processes to ensure processes are delivering their intended outputs
• Ensure all assigned non-conformances are adequately addressed and corrected.
• Report on opportunities for improvement of the Quality Management System
• Ensuring the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization

OHSE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify departmental Process Risks and Opportunities
• Conduct a quarterly review of the HSE risk profile
• Evaluate the effectiveness of actions to achieve OHSE departmental objectives
• Evaluate the effectiveness of actions to address departmental OHSE risk
• Address hazards assigned to the department
