To define and implement and monitor and audit standards and policies and procedures for the effective management of IT governance that deliver value and mitigate risks whilst maintaining a customer-centric approach
responsibilities
- Provide input into the development of the tactical strategy, and develop and implement a supporting operational strategy
- Manage the governance and planning and risk management functions and ensures appropriate policies and controls are in place for effective service delivery
- Manages risks in own area of responsibility
- Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation
- Control expenditure and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs
- Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for your own development
- Compile reports that track progress and guide businesses to make informed decisions

experience and qualifications
- Minimum Qualification - Relevant Diploma
- Preferred Qualification - Relevant Degree
- Experience - 3 to 5 years experience in a similar environment, of which 1 to 2 years ideally at junior specialist level
- Additional Knowledge - Knowledge of IT functions at CIO Office level
