PURPOSE OF CLASSIFICATION
Generate ticket sales and create a business network for premium sales, Season and Group Tickets for existing and potential clients.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Check and issue tickets for existing and walk-in clients.
- Educate customers on ticket rules and conditions.
- Make outbound calls to solicit prospective ticket purchases to generate sales.
- Respond to inbound sales calls, respond to enquiries and provide information and/or follow up materials as requested.
- Develop and manage a business network for future sales prospects through leads and referrals.
- Prepare weekly sales activity reports.
- Identify potential leads and potential sales opportunities.
- Serve as liason between customers and airlines to resolve issues/ concerns.
- Maintain knowledge of ticket plan programs as well as ticket holder preferences.
- Provide feedback and/or suggestions based on prospective ticket purchaser feedback and requests.
- Participate in a variety of promotional and sales activities designed to meet specific targets.
- Perform any other duties assigned to you by your superior.

Required Skills or Experience
- At least one year experience in ticket sales, travel consultancy or program sales. OR
- Any equivalent combination education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of using Global Distribution Systems (i.e. Amadeus, Sabre, etc.).
- Knowledge of the practices, methods and techniques of sales and up selling.
- Knowledge of the standards and techniques of Customer Service.
- Skill in clearly communicating ticket program benefits to close a sale.
- Skill in developing and nurturing network of sales leads and prospects.
- Skills in delivering sales presentation to various audiences.
- Ability to meet established sales quotas and/or promotional objectives.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Ability to work inside a sales environment subject to extended periods of high volume telephone contact.
