SNV is a not-for-profit international development organisation that applies practical know-how to make a lasting difference in the lives of people living in poverty. We use our extensive and long-term in-country presence to apply and adapt our top-notch expertise in agriculture, energy and WASH to local contexts. SNV has an annual turnover of €130 million, over 1,250 staff in more than 25 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
We are proud to be a not-for-profit organisation that uses project financing to implement our mission. This requires us to work efficiently and to invest in operational excellence. SNV aims more explicitly for systems change during project preparation and implementation - by strengthening institutions and kick-starting markets that help many more to escape poverty beyond our projects. We continue to position ourselves as a premium organisation, with decentralised management.

About the Assignment
The GrEEn project is being implemented in the Ashanti and Western regions. The project has two major beneficiary groups: SMEs who receive incubation and acceleration services under Result 4 of the project, and individuals (youth, women, and returnees) who receive skills development training under Result 2.
GrEEn has a comprehensive M&E system for tracking the progress of implementation across result areas and in the two regions. To strengthen results measurement, monitoring, verification and continuous learning, GrEEn is seeking for interns to support the implementation of the M&E framework. This offers entry-level opportunities for fresh university graduates who are seeking opportunities to apply their skills in a not-for-profit project environment.
Two interns are needed: one each for each region. The internship period shall be for a period of 3 continuous months, with the possibility of extension to a maximum duration of 6 months.
Specific Assignment
- Support the operationalization of the monitoring and evaluation framework.
- Support in conducting verification of reports and data submitted by project partners, including reports submitted by:
- - Internship service providers
- - OYE service providers
- - Incubation and acceleration hubs
- - Mentors
