The West Africa Network for Peacebuilding, Ghana (WANEP-Ghana) is non-profit making peacebuilding Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). It is a civil society institution meant to prevent, resolve, and transform violent conflicts through collective and coordinated efforts of NGOs, local and national state institutions as well as individuals actively engaged in peacebuilding practice in Ghana to avoid the duplication of efforts and maximize resources for more effective responses to conflict situations.
The organization seeks to facilitate the creation of a sustainable culture of non-violence, justice, peace and social reconciliation in Ghanaian communities.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct checks of Petty Cash expenditure
- Conduct monthly Cash Count
- Reconcile Cash balances to Cash ledger balances
- Verify/Assess all liquidation of advances
- Monitor advances against Liquidation
- Prepare Bank reconciliations
- Handle Cash receipt postings
- File financial data and records
- Perform any other assigned duty from supervisors
Required Skills or Experience
Required minimum qualifications & experience:
- First Degree (Accounting) or HND Accounting

- Minimum of two years working experience
- Experience with NGO work
- Must have a very good working knowledge of French
- Must be able to use Tally Accounting software
Qualities and competencies:
- Knowledge of spreadsheet
- Honest and a Strong Team Player
- Ability to learn the use of new software
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Ability to take initiative
- Ability to adapt and cope with pressure
- Possess good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel and work beyond normal working hours
- Be between the ages of 25 and 40 years
