Job Description: Responsibilities & Requirements
General Responsibilities
Responsible for provision of timely driving service to all IUCN Staff from both national and international levels on official duties. IUCN Members and partners may also benefit from this service as and when directed by Managers. Maintain adequately all official vehicles assigned to him/her and respect all IUCN rules and regulations.
Specific Tasks
- Operate assigned vehicles in a safe and sound manner
- Maintain defensive driving skills

- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records on trip sheets, vehicle maintenance sheets, fuel purchases, incident report, accident reports, vehicle condition report and other records that are requested from management.
- Keep the assigned vehicle clean (inside and out) always through regular washing and cleaning
- Coordinate the schedule for major or periodic vehicle maintenance with management and staff to minimise service interruptions
- Adjust travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction.
- Respond immediately to accident or medical emergencies by notifying emergency response providers and ensuring management is duly informed as well.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Perform all other duties as may be required by Management.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school Graduate is preferred.
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Have over 10 years of driving experience with either Commercial entities or Companies

- Have a Clean driving record.
- Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
- Working knowledge of local roads and routes.
- The ability to utilize maps, GPS systems, and car manuals.
- Effective communication skills (Should be able to fairly communicate in English).
- Punctual and reliable.
- Age range from 35-45years
