Daystar Power Group is looking to engage a competent and experienced Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator who will be responsible for storing and planning the movement of materials required for operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically manage warehouse:
- In compliance with company’s policies and vision.
- Receiving unloading trucks and checking in materials.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting of inventory.
- Sort materials on racks or shelves according to organizational standards.
- Ensure tidy and proper arrangement/presentation of stock.
- Processing procurement requests.
- Oversee operations on logistics, receiving, warehousing and distribution of equipment.
- Work with the relevant teams to ensure we order and maintain stock available to meet:
- The project deployment
- Service requirements (spare parts)
- Minimum inventory requirements
- Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock orders, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer and also assist in counting of physical inventory
- Manage stock: reporting, reconciliation and requests for additional stock
- Design and enforce standard operating procedures to ensure safety, transparency and management of warehousing and logistics
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation and HSE requirements

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or HND in Science, Engineering or Business Administrative field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience managing inventory and/or logistics.
- Language Proficiency: English (with good communication skills and accurate reporting skills).
- French language proficiency, a plus
- Character:
- Proactive self-starter and pays attention to details.
- Self-starter with enthusiasm for a fast-paced, high-performing start-up work environment
- Attention to detail and strong oral and written communication skills
- Highly organised and able to plan, think critically, pre-empt and communicate
- Manage multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment
- Competency and Skills Requirement:
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite – report writing and analysis
