The Person
The Finance and Procurement Officer is a key liaison for other departments on financial and accounting matters and will be in charge of procurement for the Club. The person will report directly to the Chief Finance Officer and work closely with the organization’s internal and external stakeholders.
The Role
- Supporting the Chief Finance Officer and Accountant with projects and tasks when required.
- Ensuring payment of all statutory deductions such as SSF, Income tax and withholding tax

- Ensuring the timely preparation and submission of statutory returns.
- Assisting in the preparation of the company’s final accounts and of budgets.
- Maintaining efficient accounting records.
- Reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions including bank reconciliations.
- Maintaining general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, etc.
- Creating vendor registration for all suppliers of the club, Liaising with all departments for procurement needs.
- Ensuring value for money is achieved by implementing sound procurement practices.
- Processing invoices and requests for payment of bills
- Developing in-depth knowledge of organizational products and process
The Successful Applicant
- Track record: Working in a dynamic, forward-thinking, and proactive business environment.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years working in accounting and finance-related roles.
Qualification:
- Part qualified ICA or ACCA. Bachelor’s degree or HND in accounting/finance.
- Experience in Factura accounting software will be an advantage.

Communication skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively and interpret accounting and financial information for informed decision-making.
