Abenkyiman County Hospital is inviting suitable candidates to apply for the position of Nurse Manager
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for excellence in the clinical practice of nursing and midwifery and the delivery of patient care in the hospital
- Accountable for managing human resources needed to manage patient care
- Accountable for facilitating the development of licensed and non-licensed nursing personnel
- Accountable for strategic planning as relates to the nursing department as a whole
- Accountable for ensuring institutional compliance with professional, regulatory and government standards of care.
- Accountable for facilitating cooperative and collaborative relationships among disciplines and departments to ensure quality patient care delivery

Requirement
- Must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
- Must have a diploma or degree in Nursing or Midwifery from a recognized institution.
- Must have practised for at least 6 years
- Must have held a leadership role in the past.
- Report writing skills are essential
