The Ghana Book Development Council is recruiting for the position of MONITORING AND EVALUATION MANAGER to provide operational support in research, monitoring and evaluation for the achievement of the overall objectives of the Council.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides inputs for formulation of policies of the Council.
- Undertakes surveys and administers other research instruments.
- Provides information for analysis of policy issues and development.
- Assists in collecting data for development of the Council’s monitoring and evaluation framework, systems and tools.
- Responds to internal and external research enquiries from other departments, government agencies and other stakeholders.
- Undertakes surveys and administers other research instruments.
- Undertakes the coding and operational capturing of statistical data.
- Contributes inputs for the designing of instruments for the purposes of research.
- Gathers inputs for the study on patterns, current market dynamics and emerging trends in the book industry.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of a master’s degree from an accredited tertiary institution in any of the following fields: Statistics, Economics, Sociology, Social Sciences or related field.
- A minimum of one (1) year post-qualification work experience in a reputable organisation.
- Must pass a selection interview conducted by the Ghana Book Development Council in collaboration with the Public Services Commission
