We, NutriPride Foods Africa are a new Canadian social venture providing ingredient packages based on nutritious meal plans to schools and other canteens in Ghana. Our mission – to eliminate all forms of child malnutrition – was born when our founder and former UN World Food Programme, Yutaro, saw school meals containing just rice served in malnourished communities. We are also a recent winner of Audience Choice Award at Micronutrient Forum (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdxYZTY_nH4&feature=youtu.be)
We are looking for a Supply Chain Associate with an interest, passion and experience in food safety, food supply chain management and any other relevant area.
Tasks:
- Packing of food ingredients in a small warehouse space according to appropriate food safety standards
- Assist and grow into leading in managing the warehouse space and the entire supply chain operations
- Building relationships with approriate suppliers

Experience:
- At least 1-2 years of experience packaging food items in a warehouse setting, managing farmer relationships and moving food items throughout the value chain.
- Good understanding about food value chains.
- Teamwork experience is a must.
- Experience in basic administrative and social media marketing tasks is an assetEducation
- Minimum of a post-secondary degree or certificate from a qualified institution.
- Degree or certificate in supply chain management, food technology, food safety, sanitation and other related fields is an asset.

Skills:
- Great attention to details
- Knowledge and experience in food safety and supply chain
- Must be willing and fit to conduct manual labor with some lifting and transporting of moderately heavy boxes
- Basic Microsoft Office and G Suite apps
- Must be accurate and transparent in reporting any events, expenditures and other important operational matters.
