A reputable NGO, Care for Society Network International  is looking for an innovative and driven business development officer to join our growing team. The individual in this role would be responsible for developing proposals and contents as well as formulating strategies to generate funding for projects. We are seeking a candidate who is creatively-minded, has great persuasion skills and eager to think outside the box when it comes to our business operations. Candidates with a background in communication and marketing who are analytically minded and motivated will do well in this role.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Candidate will report to the Director of Programs.
  • Write grant proposals, partnership proposals and project proposals.
  • Develop contents for communication.
  • Identify and formulate strategies to source funds from new and existing partners.
  • Coordinate special projects.
  • Support in office administrative duties.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or any related field preferred.
  • Minimum of Three (3) years of proven experience in handling same or similar role.
  • Familiarity with relevant software, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Great program coordinating skills.
  • Creatively-minded, good at thinking ‘outside the box’
  • Skills of persuasion.
  • Ability to travel when necessary to meet with partners and/or stakeholders and build business relationships.
  • Must be available full time. 12 months contract subject to renewal.
