A reputable bank seeks suitable candidates to fill the following role: Head, E-Banking
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead projects relating to electronic banking to ensure successful implementation and roll out
- Manage all card requisitions and customer complaints to ensure quality service delivery
- Ensure effective reconciliation of Bank’s card transactions with MasterCard, Visa and GhiPPS with strict adherence to SLA and card scheme roles/regulations
- Ensure the provision of technical, operational and non-technical internal/mobile banking support to merchants using the Bank’s POS terminals and customers
- Effective monitoring of card transactions to detect and control potential fraud
- Manage all e-banking business accounts and General Ledgers to ensure that they are fully reconciled

- Ensure services provided by e-banking centre are delivered in accordance with agreed service standards
- In consultation with the Chief Risk Officer, manage all risk issues relating to electronic banking and ensure compliance with international standards, rules and regulations
- Continuous review of existing processes to identify potential opportunities to create new efficiencies
- Prepare, monitor and control department budget and process vendor bills for payments on a timely basis
- Prepare and update the department’s operational risk register indicating measures to eliminate or mitigate identifiable risk
- Initiate and support the roll out of the electronic banking strategy
- Develop framework for operational efficiency (including the appropriate risks and control framework) in e-banking business processes and procedures
- Own and implement the e-banking Business continuity plan
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders in the execution of the e-banking strategy
- Manage employees to achieve business results
Qualification Required & Experience
- First Degree in Business Administration or its equivalent
- A minimum of 7 years experience with 3 years in the role of an e-banking team lead or manager
- Master Card Academy and Visa Business School Training
- A professional certification is required
- PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry – Data Security Standards) compliance knowledge
- Excellent knowledge in e-banking operations, software, hardware and systems
- Good knowledge in banking operations
- Demonstrate integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- In-depth back-end knowledge and understanding of e-products and services and related dynamics and operations
