Responsibility: The direction, organization, and strategic planning of the entire nursing unit.
Duties:
- Evaluate nursing staff performance and ensure that nursing care meets regulatory standards
- Set standards and plans for the nursing team
- Review and approve nursing policies and procedures

- Train nursing staff and coordination of educational programs for patients and their families
- Collaborate with nursing staff, management, and external agencies in the coordination of patient care
- Facilitate meetings with medical staff from other departments
- Ensure that nursing care medical services are meeting patient needs
- Implement quality assurance systems
- Preparation of regular and annual reports to the Medical Director
- Develop new patient care programs under the supervision of Medical Director
Suitable Candidate must possess the following:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing/Midwifery with at least 10 years experience as a practitioner
- The last 3 years must have been in a management position
- Qualification in health services management or clinical leadership would be an advantage
- Valid PIN
- Must possess outstanding critical thinking and organizational skills as well as in-depth knowledge of healthcare industry policies
- Must be a good team player with good interpersonal and conflict management skills
