The company has opportunities for qualified and interested persons to join the Technical and Life Administration team to advice business on the potential of EL data, to provide new insights into the business’s mission, and through the use of statistical analysis, data mining, and data visualization techniques, to create solutions that enable enhanced business performance.
- REPORTS TO: Assistant General Manager, Technical and Life Administration
- REMUNERTION: Per approved remuneration structure. Further details of this as well as other terms of employment will be discussed at the interview
- GRADE: B 2
JOB SUMMARY
The Data Analyst will play a leading role in supporting the business where s/he is required to leverage and synthesize large volumes and variety of data in order to enhance the business’s understanding of individual population segments, propensities, outcomes, and decision points.

S/He combines data, computational science, and technology with consumer-oriented business knowledge in the business setting, to drive high-value insights into the business and drive high-impact through the business levers at the business’s disposal.
Additionally, s/he will lead EL to develop great customer retention or customer management actions or strategies, new product developments and enhancements, support our reach and spread and help us identify activities that drive business effectiveness.

Required Skills or Experience
- Education: The Data Analyst must have a bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Economics, or any other related quantitative field. Working experience of the equivalent is also acceptable for this position.
- Experience: A candidate for this position must have had at least 3 years of working experience working with business analysis/informatics and business outcomes research within a fast-paced and complex business setting.
- Communication Skills: Communication skills for the Data Analyst, both in written and verbal form are a must have. S/He will be required to explain advanced statistical content to relevant stakeholders. Strong verbal and written communication skills to easily communicate complex ideas.
