Job Description: Responsibilities & Requirements
Job Summary
- Responsible to the GM, After-Sales for the maintenance of all the company's machinery and equipments nationwide, including regional branches
Responsibilities and Duties
- Take inventory of all company machinery ad equipment nationwide and regional including lifts, air compressors, wheel alignment, wheel balancing, tire changers..
- Prepare a maintenance schedule for each machine and share with all parties affected
- Prepare list of the adequate stock of spare parts needed for the maintenance of the machinery and after approval of GM-After-Sales, follow-up with spare part department to order those parts
- Conduct the maintenance of all machinery and equipment in Ghana and liaise with sister companies in other markets to conduct the maintenance through their own staff or sub-contractors
- Liaise with manufacturer or his/her representative when the need arises
- Install all new machinery
- Attend training on the installation, use and repair of the machinery when possible

- Train staff on the use of the machinery
- Liaise with and, if needed, travel to assist sister companies in the repair of their company
- Monitor performance of machine operations and advice when replacement is needed
- Prepare periodic report (maintenance, repairs, training etc) as well as the costs involved with these activities
Qualification Required & Experience
- University Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years qualification experience
- Post graduate Diploma in Engineering or HND with 5 to 8 years experience
- Must have a proven track record of facility maintenance and man agement
- Must be very proactive, self disciplined and tactful with good interpersonal and team building capabilities
- Must have good knowledge of computer applications especially Microsoft Office
- Must have a valid driving license
- Must have leadership & management skills
- Superior at information gathering and report writing competencies
- Good negotiation, presentation and facilitation skills
- Must be capable of developing, monitoring, coaching and leading an effective team
