An operator in the Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) industry in Ghana is looking for an experienced, dynamic and result oriented Supply Chain / Procurement Manager to join it’s restaurant support centre (RSC) in Accra.
Core Purpose of the Job
The job holder will lead a team of supply chain professionals focused on supporting the company’s operational planning, and inventory management and forging strong partnerships and interaction with functional area leaders, sourcing leaders, and global partners to optimise the supply chain and deliver lower total cost of ownership

Core Responsibilities
- Responsible for the strategic development of supply chain processes and systems across the market and delivering cost-effective business process improvements, control inventory budgets and oversee demand planning
- Manage the different aspects of the supply chain (including sourcing, purchasing, transport, warehousing and distribution)
- Interface and work closely with strategic sourcing, marketing, operations and suppliers to develop and implement strategies to ensure continuity of supply, manage cost and provide the company with competitive advantage
- Inventory Management: Co-ordinate and ensures continuity of supply and optimal material flow to support high volume store operations across all locations on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts and supply agreements for all packaging materials in collaboration with other functional business departments
- Continuously improve the supply base through active supplier management and ensuring that suppliers meet quality requirements and applicable regulatory requirements by initiating appropriate action when supplier quality or compliance deficiencies are identified
- Develop, lead and implement sourcing initiatives to reduce cost and provide year-on-year cost improvement in collaboration with the supply chain management and various functional groups
- Optimize and control stock levels of all ingredients, packaging and imported foods
Qualification Required & Experience
- Minimum of first Degree in Supply Chain Management / Purchasing and Supply with minimum of 5 years experience in similar activities in a fast-paced organization. Professional membership and certification from the CIPS will be an added advantage
Salary Range: GHS 3,500 to GHS 4,500
