A Reputable Life Assurance Company is seeking to engage the services of a Branch Manager to manage its Regional Office at Kumasi.
- REPORTS DIRECTLY TO: Ag. Head of Distribution
- DIRECT REPORTS: At least 5 Sales Manager
- INDIRECT REPORTS: Sales Representatives and Team Leaders
JOB PURPOSE
To build and expand the Operations and Profitability of the company’s products in its geographical locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing the sales of the company’s products and services within all geographic areas.
- Supporting Sales Managers/ Team Leaders to develop business objectives and annual budgets.
- Coaching Sales Managers/ Team Leaders on how to manage income and expenditure, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
- Identifying and harnessing new client opportunities, while retaining and upgrading existing customer base.
- Building strong relationships with key clients of the Sales Managers/ Team Leaders and maintaining an accurate database on their clients.
- Ensure that the Sales Managers/Team Leaders operate within the specified operating procedures and maintains integrity of the Company.
- Recommending product lines by identifying new product opportunities, surveying consumer needs and trends, tracking competitors.
- Ensuring timely review and submission of reports to the appropriate authorities; weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually.
- Performing any other duties that may be required.
Supervisory duties
Has direct control over Sales Managers and Team Leaders
General duties
Any other duties that may be assigned.

- Has no level of authorization, must consult with HOD
Required Skills or Experience
Educational Qualification
- University degree or advanced professional qualification from a recognized institution.
- Master’s degree
- Diploma or Certificate in Insurance is an added advantage
Specific Working Experience
- At least 5 to 10 years working experience in sales
Personality Attributes
- Taking responsibility of self and others
- Multi tasking
- Self-confident, outgoing and not easily intimidated
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Organizational Skills
- Team building and leadership
