A leading agric inputs (fertiliser, crop protection products, seeds and animal feed) company is recruiting 3 Technical Sales Representatives (TSR) for an indefinite contract from 1st June, 2020. The job responsibilities and requirements are described below:
Objective
Under the supervision of the Regional Sales Lead, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of all of the company’s initiatives in the respective sales territories according to defined approaches

Job Description
As TSR, the main responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Commercial Activities
- Promotion of the company’s range of products to farmers, input traders and other stake holders
- Sale of the company’s range of products
- Retain and manage existing customers by providing prompt customer service
- Prospect new customers, identify their needs, propose plans and actions to grow our share of the market
- Monitor, analyse and report competitor activities
- Point of sales event in Crop areas
- Training, supervision and monitoring of the activities of distributors and retailers
- Active participation in commercial and marketing activities

Agronomic Activities
- Set up demonstration plots for farmers
- Oranize and lead training sessions in farmer field schools
- Train producers on good agricultural practices and the national use of company’s products
- Monitor the daily activities of farmers and cooperatives
- Ensure the proper execution of farmer engagement activities
- Distribute inputs and agricultural equipment
- Write and submit reports of the various field activities
Qualification Required & Experience
- A minimum of a Diploma in Agriculture is required
- At least 3 years relevant work experience
- Ability to set up and carry out demonstrations
- Demonstrate ability to organize, supervise and monitor in a participatory approach
- Good working knowledge of office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and other stakeholders
- Possession of a valid driving license
- Proficiency in local languages, knowledge and expeience of the area of assignment are assets
Other Conditions: Applications must meet the following conditions
- Be able to work at a sustained pace and under pressure
- Be available immediately location Successful candidates will be stationed in towns in any of these regions: Volta, Ashanti, Bono and Northern Regions
