As the Production Supervisor you will deliver the shift / line objectives by empowering and engaging people to develop their capability and ways of working. You will ensure that the line (shift) production plan is fully achieved on time and in compliance with internal and external requirements meeting safety, quality, cost, delivery and environmental needs (strive towards Manufacturing Excellence).
A day in the life of...
Supervising approximately 25-50 people and the operation of multiple production lines, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing the competency of your team to be the best that they can be
- Building relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Leading, coaching & motivating a multi-skilled team to work to standards whilst achieving individual, departmental, development, and planned performance improvements
- Fostering Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) and Total Performance Management (TPM) principles to build capability and improve your areas overall performance
- Contributing to the continued growth and success of the Tema Factory
- Ensuring all work carried out adheres to quality, compliance, safety, reliability and cost requirement
What will make you successful
- Excellent people management skills with a continuous improvement mind-set
- Strong communication, negotiation, problem solving, analytical and decision-making abilities
- Be willing to work day, afternoon and night shifts on a rotating basis
- Degree in Science
