A financial institution in the Volta Region is looking for an experienced and qualified person to be considered for appointment as Systems Administrator.
JOB DESCRIPTION
To safeguard the bank's information assets by directing and supporting the IT Department in the protection of its information resources from disclosure, modification, destruction, usage or transfer, whether intentionally or unintentionally, through the implementation of appropriate information security policies, procedures and guidelines.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing T24/Globus Software Application.
- Implementing Systems and Controls, data security and protection.
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
- Specifying the recommended changes in Technology and Systems to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Responsible for the effective operations and management of the IT Department.
- Evaluating and planning necessary upgrades of the computers and networks.

- Performs other internal duties (training and coaching newly recruited and existing staff on the T24 software.
- Ability to develop simple programmes and report writing from operational software.
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies.
- Manage network servers and technology tools
QUALIFICATION
Applicant must possess the following:
- Minimum of a degree in Information Technology from a recognised University with at least five (5) years of post —qualification experience in similar position.
- Must be hardworking and customer focused, results-oriented, have excellent managerial skills, be an accurate and fast worker, have good interpersonal and communication skills, be a team player and possess change orientation skills.
