The scope of this role is to primarily to create new business opportunities and pursue trading businesses and investment projects mainly in West Africa (Cote d’lvoire, Ghana,and Nigeria).
Key Responsibilities:
- To carry out research, analyse data, prepare proposals and advise on business opportunities, including trading businesses and investment projects mainly in West Africa (Cote d’lvoire, Ghana, Nigeria).
- To carry out feasibility studies on proposed trading businesses and investment opportunities.
- To negotiate with relevant stakeholders including companies and government and regulatory bodies to realize trading businesses and investment projects.
- Any other task that may be requested by the General Manager in order to meet the business objectives and operational needs of the company in West Africa.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Skills/Knowledge/Experience/Others :
- Trading business experience
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English and French
- Numeracy and the ability to develop an analytical approach to solving problems
- Effective negotiating skills
- Educated up to degree level and possible professional or post-graduate qualifications

Potential to manage and lead local staff and to act as right-hand person to General Manager
