FOCOS mission is to provide comprehensive, affordable orthopaedic care to those who would not otherwise have access to such treatment. In particular, FOCOS seeks to enhance access to optimal surgical and non-surgical care for patients with disabling musculoskeletal disorders including complex spine deformities and pediatric orthopaedic problems in underserved regions. It began as a dream of the founder to see the best care reach the underserved in his native country, Ghana and the sub-Saharan region.
SUMMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare food products for cooking by following established hospital recipes and procedures
- Weigh cooking products as required to ensure proper portion delivery.
- Utilize knowledge of cooking methods to ensure that adequate amounts of properly prepared foods are provided in a timely fashion.
- Dish up meals as per dietary requisition from the wards.

- Prepare meals for functions, workshop and other programs on request.
- Maintain a clean workstation and contribute to the cleanliness of the whole kitchen.
- Assist in maintaining adequate stock levels required for cooking production by estimating needs according to the production schedule.
Required Skills or Experience
Education & Qualifications
- HND Hotel, Catering and Institutional Management or NVTI Cookery I & II
- Possess food handlers certificate
- A minimum of two (2) years working experience in similar position.
Technical
- Effective communication, Computer skills.
- Demonstrated human relation skills
- Cooking skills
- Ability to work under pressure
