The role of Finance & Accounts Manager requires proven ability to work in a highly collaborative manner with departments, a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively & work efficiently with subordinates, other senior executives; deep subject matter expertise in Finance, Accounts and Hospitality Management and the ability to lead a high functioning team.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide quality financial services in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Preparation of payroll for staff (both mainstream and consultants)
- Analyzing of sales reports
- Processing of statutory payments (VAT, SSNIT, PAYE etc)
- Preparation of bank reconciliation reports
- Managing of supplier accounts
- Managing of debtors accounts
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial report
- Processing of payments for all accounts
- Management of petty cash
- Ensures accurate entries are made into the accounting software
- Supervising on revenue centers of the hospital

- Advise management on finance and update CEO regularly.
- Contribute to planning and formulation of hospital’s policies
- Strong leadership in the management of finance
- Strategise and advise management on finance
- Monitoring and evaluating KPIs for each team member on periodic basis
- Responsible for training team members on finance related topics and activities
- Supervise the creation of files necessary for finance and their effective management
- Responsible for all finance unit correspondences
- Recommend with justifications subject to approval of management.
- Implement visible initiative to improve efficient and effective service delivery.
- Cascade the hospital’s strategy/mission statement and Strategic Operational Plans pertaining to department to team members
- Other assignments/target benchmarks as directed by management and/or board
Required Skills or Experience
- Must be 35 years and above
- Must have professional certification (ACCA, etc)
