Job Summary:

The Travel and Hospitality Intern will support the African Diaspora Resource Centre in providing high-quality travel, tourism, and relocation assistance to clients. This role involves handling administrative tasks, client communication, and social media management while ensuring smooth travel and settlement experiences for newly relocated individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone calls, emails, and messages to assist clients with inquiries related to travel and relocation.
  • Manage and update social media accounts with relevant content related to travel, hospitality, and diaspora relocation.
  • Assist clients who have newly relocated to Ghana by providing guidance on accommodation, local services, and cultural integration.
  • Coordinate and assist with travel and tour arrangements, including booking transportation and accommodations.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and preparing reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the client experience and improve service delivery.
  • Assist in planning and executing travel-related events, workshops, and informational sessions.
  • Capture and create content showcasing the experiences of clients transitioning to Ghana, including interviews, testimonials, and visual storytelling.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support travel and hospitality operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for travel, hospitality, and assisting people with relocation.
  • Knowledge of Ghana’s tourism industry and local services is a plus.
  • Experience in content creation, photography, or videography is an added advantage.
